Know how far she is rolling, and how far she rolled.

OceanAlign reads heel angle, pitch, roll period and roll amplitude from a separate SEALINK IMU and shows them on one bridge display. The largest roll to each side is held until the watch clears it, and the peak values go to the voyage data recorder.

/ HOW SHE IS MOVING /

The motion of the ship, in numbers.

Heel and roll, as they happen

The IMU reads how far the vessel lies to port and starboard and how she rolls between them, and the angle appears on the bridge display as it changes.

Pitch, bow to stern

The same sensor measures the rise and fall of the bow and stern, so the pitching that is felt on deck is also a figure the watch can quote.

The largest angle, kept

Recent roll is plotted and the largest heel to each side is held with the time it was last cleared, and those peaks are passed to the voyage data recorder.

Key Benefits

Heel angle, pitch, roll period and roll amplitude on one screen.

Peak-hold record of the largest roll to port and to starboard.

Three-minute trend plots, plus surge, sway and heave indications.

Peak values and the reset time-stamp passed to the voyage data recorder.

The roll, measured and remembered.

OceanAlign presents heel angle, pitch, roll period and roll amplitude live, holds the largest roll to each side since the last reset, and plots the last three minutes of heel angle and the distribution of roll amplitude. Alerts, brilliance and day or night follow the rest of the bridge.
